What do we need to know if we are going to travel to the Seychelles?
Definitely this year COVID-19 surprised everyone and changed many travel plans. While some countries are trying to deal with the situation with as little damage as possible, others, such as the Seychelles, are reporting excellent results in fighting the virus. Today, the total number of registered cases of coronavirus in the country is 100 and there are no deaths. Thanks to these data, the country decided to open its borders from 1st of August!
Even in times of pandemic, the Seychelles remains a true paradise. But what do you need to know before traveling to the islands?
– The Department of Health of Seychelles has published an official list of countries at high risk of transmitting the infection whose citizens are not allowed to visit Seychelles. – For those who have decided to travel it is important to know that they must have a negative coronavirus test up to 48 hours before the flight.
– Most hotels have resumed operations, as have much of the public space. It is required to wear a mask indoors.
– Tourists can visit bars, casinos, cinemas and outdoor/indoor sports events, provided that they keep distance and high personal hygiene.
– Visits to all beaches are also allowed.
